I was scrolling on Instagram when I came across a trailer showing Jeff Bridges shooting at and beating up people. That held my attention because you don’t normally see mature people in action movies. The trailer was packed full of action. I wanted to know more, so I headed over to IMDb to get details. The longline read: A former CIA officer, who’s living off the grid, finds himself on the run from people who want to kill him. As soon as I saw CIA, I was IN! Anybody who knows me, knows I love TV shows and movies about the CIA, FBI, Black Ops, Navy Seals, etc.
Needless to say, I was ready to watch! However, I discovered the pilot episode was already playing and was halfway over. Plus, episode two was airing immediately after. I absolutely can’t watch a show that’s already in motion. I need to be in on the story set up, otherwise I won’t connect to the show. So, I waited until Saturday night to watch so I could give it my full attention. The show didn’t disappoint! Jeff Bridges is lethal (and still fine) in this show! It’s packed full of action and suspense. I will be doing weekly reviews on the show, so stay tuned!
